\tWe are seeking a professional and results-driven Area Sales Manager-Wholesale to drive regional sales growth and strengthen customer relationships. The successful candidate will lead sales teams, manage key accounts, and ensure the consistent achievement of business targets.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale customers and buyers.\u00a0
\n\tDrive sales growth, achieve targets, and identify new business opportunities.\u00a0
\n\tManage and analyse sales performance, pricing, margins, and budgets.\u00a0
\n\tPlan, negotiate, and execute promotions, ensuring effective in-store. implementation.\u00a0
\n\tLead, manage, and develop sales representatives and agents to achieve targets.\u00a0
\n\tMonitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective stock management, including availability and promotional planning.\u00a0
\n\tHandle customer queries, claims, and feedback professionally and efficiently.\u00a0
\n\tCompile and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.\u00a0
\n\tImplement sales strategies aligned to company objectives.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements & Skills \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12); relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous. \u00a0
\n\t3\u20134 years\u2019 experience in an FMCG environment and sound knowledge of Wholesale trade within KZN. \u00a0
\n\tProven experience managing sales teams and agents. \u00a0
\n\tStrong communication, sales, and negotiation skills. \u00a0
\n\tComputer literacy with solid financial and reporting capabilities. \u00a0
\n\tExcellent organisational, leadership, and time management skills. \u00a0
\n\tAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask. \u00a0
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence and willingness to travel locally. \u00a0\u00a0
