\tDevelop an annual business and strategic plan and manage its implementation, including academics, sport and cultural activities, social responsibility, marketing, brand image and facilities management\u00a0
\n\tManage student leadership programmes and fundraising
\n\tDevelop and manage the school budget
\n\tPlan and manage academics, including curricula development and implementation, work schemes and training, class observations and communication
\n\tManage health, safety and security
\n\tManage assessments and reporting, from setting up timetables to evaluating remedial actions
\n\tManage and mentor staff, including recruitment, appraisals, disciplinary issues, skills development and mediation
\n\tManage interventions and disciplinary processes and mentor staff in pastoral duties
\n\tPlan and manage classroom\/learning environment set-up for optimal performance, including managing the provision and maintenance of learning tools and equipment
\n\tPlan and manage assessments (formal and continuous) and homework, including moderation, revision and supervision
\n\tTeach and tutor classes and participate in outreach drives and events<\/p>\n
Qualifications, experience and skills<\/p>\n
\tBEd degree, with an honours degree in educational leadership and management advantageous
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years\u2019 managerial experience, with experience as part of a school management team advantageous \u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of the NSC curriculum
\n\tProven management and leadership skills and business acumen
\n\tAbility to lead and mentor staff members
\n\tExcellent communication, organisational and planning skills
\n\tWilling and able to work extended hours and to become involved in all aspects of school life
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office
\n\tSACE-registered
\n\tClear criminal record<\/p>\n
