\tWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Team Lead to play a central role in overseeing the health, performance, and security of our network, cloud, and server environments. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring a talented team of engineers, ensuring the stability and growth of our IT operations.<\/p>\n
YOUR CORE FOCUS AREAS:
\nNetwork Infrastructure<\/p>\n
\tDesign, develop, and maintain detailed WAN and LAN diagrams to map our network infrastructure.
\n\tSupport and manage network monitoring tools, such as PRTG, to ensure optimal network health and performance.
\n\tPerform ongoing network maintenance, including implementing patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
\n\tConfigure and install essential network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
\n\tOversee network asset management and maintain vendor relationships within the parameters of established change management policies.<\/p>\n
Cloud Ecosystem<\/p>\n
\tManage and support Microsoft 365 tenant environments, focusing on user management, security, and compliance.
\n\tAssist with Azure tenant administration, including billing and cost optimization.
\n\tRespond to escalated support tickets related to Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS services, ensuring timely resolution.
\n\tMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain strong performance and security standards.<\/p>\n
Server & On-Premises Systems<\/p>\n
\tDemonstrate advanced Active Directory skills, including creating Group Policies and managing Domain Controllers.
\n\tManage server hardware, storage solutions, and hypervisor technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
\n\tExhibit strong troubleshooting abilities with backup and restore technologies, especially Veeam.
\n\tMaintain and support the Mimecast suite (including TTP) and Microsoft mail applications, such as Exchange and O365.<\/p>\n
Leadership & Team Development<\/p>\n
\tProvide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to engineering team members, supporting their professional growth.
\n\tCollaborate closely with management on project planning and prioritization to align with business objectives.
\n\tChampion best practices in documentation, security, and change management throughout the IT department<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.
\n\tIT Diploma\/Degree or equivalent qualification
\n\tA+ and N+ certifications
\n\tProven background as a Senior Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a similar technical role with leadership responsibilities.
\n\tComprehensive technical expertise across network, cloud, and server infrastructure domains.
\n\tAbility to diagnose and resolve complex issues both over the phone and in-person, using a systematic approach.
\n\tSuperior organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
\n\tExcellent communication abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on mentorship.
\n\tProactive attitude, consistently staying informed about emerging technologies and security best practices.<\/p>\n
