\tGrade 12 \/ Matric.
\n\tCertificate in Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, Safety Management, or related qualification.
\n\tMinimum 2\u20133 years\u2019 administrative \/ hospital reception\/ward reception\/case management within a hospital environment or in a health and safety environment.
\n\tPrevious experience with RMA administration and injury-on-duty claim processes would be advantageous
\n\tExperience within ISO 9001 systems would be advantageous.
\n\tKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and compensation fund procedures.
\n\tGood understanding of medical terminology.
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
\n\tStrong administrative, organisational, and recordkeeping skills.
\n\tGood written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tAbility to work independently and under pressure.
\n\tA valid driver\u2019s license will be advantageous.

\u00a0Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide administrative support to the Health and Safety Department
\n\tPreparation of DMPR files for presentation and submission with the medical case manager
\n\tAd hoc review of cases submitted and administered with the medical case manager
\n\tAuditing case files with the medical case manager.
\n\tMaintain accurate health and safety records, registers, and filing systems.
\n\tCompile, capture, and distribute health and safety reports and statistics.
\n\tCoordinate safety meetings, training sessions, inductions, and medical bookings.
\n\tAssist with incident, accident, and near-miss reporting documentation.
\n\tCapture and administer RMA claims and related documentation.
\n\tLiaise with the RMA regarding injury-on-duty cases and claim registrations.
\n\tMaintain records of injury-on-duty cases, medical reports, and compensation documentation.
\n\tMonitor and track employee training, certifications, permits, and medical expiry dates.
\n\tEnsure all safety documentation is updated and filed in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
\n\tAssist with audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
\n\tPrepare presentations, meeting minutes, and departmental correspondence.
\n\tLiaise with employees, contractors, and service providers regarding health and safety administration matters.
\n\tSupport the implementation of company health and safety policies and procedures.
\n\tPerform general office administration duties as required.<\/p>\n
