The role exists to increase the time, focus, and agility of the CEO, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into disciplined execution across the organization.<br \/>\n\tThe Business Manager operates with delegated authority from the CEO, working across functions to ensure alignment, clarity, and delivery, without holding direct line accountability for functional operations.<\/p>\n<p>ROLE REQUIREMENT<\/p>\n<p>CEO Agenda, Decision &amp; Follow-Through Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tShape, prioritize, and protect the CEO\u2019s agenda to ensure focus on high-impact strategic and operational matters.<br \/>\n\tAct as liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders as delegated.<br \/>\n\tEnsure CEO, Exco, and Board decisions are clearly articulated, documented, and communicated.<br \/>\n\tTrack execution of agreed actions, owners, milestones, and outcomes, escalating risks and delays to the CEO with recommended options.<\/p>\n<p>Enterprise Operating Cadence &amp; Coordination:<\/p>\n<p>\tDesign, coordinate, and support the CEO and Exco operating rhythm, including Exco meetings, monthly reviews, and strategic forums.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the effective dissemination and receipt of key information between the CEO, Exco, and their leadership teams.<br \/>\n\tAct as gatekeeper for issues escalated to the CEO, ensuring readiness, clarity, and decision quality.<br \/>\n\tMonitor progress against assigned strategic initiatives and enterprise deliverables<\/p>\n<p>Strategy Translation &amp; Alignment:<\/p>\n<p>\tTranslate the CEO\u2019s vision, priorities, and Board directives into clear strategic themes and execution plans.<br \/>\n\tSupport Exco in cascading strategy into aligned functional plans, budgets, and resource allocation.<br \/>\n\tDefine success metrics linked to strategic objectives, track progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n<p>Enterprise Performance Insight &amp; Financial Oversight:<\/p>\n<p>\tWork closely with Finance to analyze and interpret financial and operational performance at an enterprise level.<br \/>\n\tProvide consolidated insight on budgets, forecasts, cost-saving initiatives, and performance trends.<br \/>\n\tEnsure financial and operational information presented to the CEO and Exco is accurate, prioritized, and decision relevant.<br \/>\n\tTrack benefits realization for strategic and efficiency initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance, Governance &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure adherence to legal requirements, company policies, and approved governance frameworks.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and drive monthly and ad-hoc reporting required by the CEO, Exco, and Board.<br \/>\n\tPrepare executive-level documentation and presentations by researching, validating, and synthesising information to support sound decision-making.<br \/>\n\tEnsure business decisions are implemented within agreed governance, risk, and compliance parameters.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Office Team Leadership:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and lead a small, high-impact CEO Office team focused on reporting, execution tracking, and decision support.<br \/>\n\tSet clear priorities, standards, and ways of working for the team.<br \/>\n\tEnsure professionalism, confidentiality, and executive-level delivery at all times.<\/p>\n<p>DECISIONS RIGHTS &amp; AUTHORITY<\/p>\n<p>\tActs as a delegated representative of the CEO on agreed matters<br \/>\n\tMay convene and facilitate cross-functional forums to drive alignment and execution.<br \/>\n\tHas authority to challenge execution gaps and request corrective action on behalf of the CEO.<br \/>\n\tDoes not hold line accountability for functional P&amp;L or daily operations.<\/p>\n<p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/p>\n<p>\tRole requires executive-level flexibility aligned to the CEO\u2019s schedule and business priorities.<br \/>\n\tStrong understanding of the business, industry, and operating environment required.<br \/>\n\tHigh levels of trust, confidentiality, and professionalism are non-negotiable<\/p>\n<p>TECHNICAL \/ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES<\/p>\n<p>\tEnterprise governance, compliance, and risk management.<br \/>\n\tStrategic planning and execution tracking.<br \/>\n\tExecutive-level reporting and performance management.<br \/>\n\tProject and change management.<br \/>\n\tStakeholder and relationship management at Executive level.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS &amp;
