Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Certificate, with a valid Code 14 drivers license with PDP
\n\tAt least 1-2 years\u2019 experience as a Driver transporting staff and participants\/patients
\n\tExperience to manage routine maintenance on small\/ medium commercial vehicles
\n\tKnowledge of South African National Traffic Laws & Regulations, as well as attention to safety and security
\n\tProven clients focus and orientation
\n\tMaintain strict client confidentiality
\n\tMS Office proficiency
\n\tAbility to function in a team
\n\tNo traffic violations or offences
\n\tDiligent attention to safety
\n\tGood time management
\n\tInterpersonal skills
\n\tWillingness to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSafely transport staff, participants, and goods to various research sites and clinics
\n\tTransport samples, equipment, and supplies
\n\tFollow all traffic laws and internal protocols
\n\tMaintain strict client confidentiality
\n\tMaintain accurate vehicle logs and delivery records
\n\tPerform routine checks (oil, water, tyres, fuel)
\n\tEnsure cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior
\n\tReport and follow up on mechanical issues
\n\tEnsure vehicles are charged and serviced regularly
\n\tMaintain generator and electrical systems
\n\tAssist with obtaining quotes for repairs
\n\tMaintain cleanliness of site premises
\n\tAssist with moving furniture and heavy materials
\n\tReport maintenance issues to management
\n\tAssist with deliveries and general upkeep
\n\tAttend meetings and contribute to team operations
\n\tPerform miscellaneous tasks as assigned
\n\tAssist with translation and communication
\n\tWillingness to work irregular hours and weekends<\/p>\n
