The successful candidate will be expected, among others to:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all procurement in accordance with the relevant supply chain management prescripts, including PFMA and PPPFA and Treasury Instruction Notes.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and implement a demand management and procurement plan.
\n\tManage the procurement of goods and services less than R1 million and assist with bids.
\n\tImplement logistics, inventory and disposal management system.
\n\tManage and undertake supplier performance management.
\n\tPerform market assessment, industry analysis and pricing analysis for goods and services.
\n\tImplement the transformation strategy of the C-BRTA.
\n\tEnsure processing of supplier invoices within 30 days.
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
\n\tManage sub-ordinates within the SCM unit.<\/p>\n
Formal Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tApplicable bachelor\u2019s degree\/on\u00a0NQF level 7\u00a0qualification in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
\n\tActive\u00a0membership\u00a0from CIPS or any other professional body of Supply Chain Management\/ Procurement.
\n\tA postgraduate degree in supply Chain Management or related discipline will be added advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t5 years\u2019 experience in Supply Chain Management.
\n\t3 years\u00a0at supervisory level.<\/p>\n
