Stocking products on shelves, doing inventory, and keeping the store organized. A store assistant takes direction from the Stores Supervisor or Manager.<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities, but NOT LIMITED TO:<\/p>\n
\tSelects merchandise from shelves and prepares items for shipping
\n\tEnsuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
\n\tPacking incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
\n\tKeeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
\n\tPicking orders as required.
\n\tSealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
\n\tEnsuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
\n\tPlacing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
\n\tLoading and unloading trucks by using jacks and forklifts.
\n\tComplying with OSHA and other safety regulations.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\t1+ years work experience in a similar role.
\n\tExcellent verbal communication skills.
\n\tAbility to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
\n\tProficient with using tools required for this position.
\n\tProficient organizational skills.
\n\tAbility to handle heavy equipment and machinery
\n\tIntegrity and good interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
