MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tA technical related qualification in Electrical\/ Plumbing\/ General Technical Maintenance.
\n\tMinimum of three (3) years working experience in a Maintenance Environment.
\n\tA Valid Driver\u2019s Licence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
ADDED ADVANTEGE REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tA higher (e.g. National Diploma and higher) technical related qualification in Electrical\/ Plumbing\/ General Technical Maintenance
\n\tMore than three (3) years working experience as a handyman in Maintenance Environment.
\n\tComputer Literacy.<\/p>\n
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all equipment are safe, in optimum condition and continually maintained and operating according to the manufacturer’s requirements.
\n\tEnsure that all malfunctional and disrepairs are reported to the Facilities Manager.
\n\tBuilding maintenance in accordance with specifications and timeline of the building plan.
\n\tGeneral repairs, services and maintenance to assets and building within acceptable times in line with acceptable quality.
\n\tPeriodic inspections and flagging of problems for general assets, equipment, building etc.
\n\tArrange\/movement of furniture and equipment as and when required.
\n\tInstall all internal fixtures and fittings such as pictures, perform minor repairs on shelving etc
\n\tKeep all office furniture in functional order.
\n\tReplace burnt out lights as and when required.
\n\tCarry out fault finding walkabouts around the SANC building.
\n\tCarry out basic repair of any electrical, plumbing etc
\n\tCarry out movement of movable assets, boxes, any other heavy objects around\/within the building.
\n\tEnsure compliance to OHS Act in your area and report to OHS committee.
\n\tEnsure all photocopying machines are adequately stocked with paper, staples, and toner at all times.
\n\tProvide general driving responsibilities on request by Line Management. \u00a0
\n\tPerform ad hoc task as delegated.<\/p>\n
