\tWe are looking for a detail-orientated and proactive Credit Controller to join our Receivables In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full credit control cycle, assisting with timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships.<\/p>\n

\nRequired Qualifications \/ Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Grade 12
\n\tAdditional tertiary education will be an added advantage.
\n\tAt least 5 years\u2019 experience in Credit Control
\n\tSAP knowledge advantageous
\n\tComputer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
\n\tMust be emotionally intelligent.
\n\tExcellent communication and people skills
\n\tTeam player
\n\tSelf-starter
\n\tInterpersonal skills<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nJob Specification<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and maintain customer relations.
\n\tEnsure effective customer service by understanding client\u2019s needs and expectations and delivering what is promised.
\n\tOpening of new accounts
\n\tCollecting, monitoring, and following up on outstanding debt and month end payments
\n\tPayment allocations need to be done as per remittance.
\n\tHandles disputed accounts. Sorting queries out timeously.
\n\tCheck credit limits of customer accounts. Releasing of credit held orders.
\n\tKnowledge of CGIC policy and procedures will be advantageous.
\n\tNegotiate with customers to bring account payment in line with terms.
\n\tMust be able to calculate interest, debtor\u2019s days and reporting it to the Credit Manager timeously.
\n\tEnsuring that credit limits on all clients are reviewed monthly. Credit limit motivations to be done.
\n\tReconcile bank statements.
\n\tAllocation of payment received on customer accounts according to different foreign currencies.
\n\tSend out monthly statements and relevant documentation to customers.
\n\tCompile documentation for legal action according to company policy and procedures
\n\tMaintain performance statistics within set time frames.
\n\tMonthly management reports
\n\tControlling of own debtors’ book according to company policy and procedures<\/p>\n
