\tOur client, a well-established and highly successful corporate commodity trading company, specializing in physical deliveries on an international basis, have an exciting permanent SQL ADMINISTRATOR \/ SQL DEVELOPER position available<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tAdminister Microsoft SQL Server database environments
\n\tT-SQL Scripting and development on both new and existing functions
\n\tTroubleshoot and resolve server, database and data issues
\n\tSecurity maintenance of server and database
\n\tMaintenance and monitoring of SQL environment\u00a0<\/p>\n
Role Focus:<\/p>\n
\tCreate new reports or dashboards based on supplied requirements
\n\tPerform tests to ensure accurate compliance with project requirements
\n\tBe comfortable documenting processes along the way<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCreate, change and manage reports
\n\tAccess, investigate and extract data as needed
\n\tTest data for completeness and correctness
\n\tProvide support to internal users
\n\tIssue investigation and resolution
\n\tInvestigate systems and document
\n\tProblem escalation as needed<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Min Requirements\/Skills:<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Degree\/National Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MCITP essential
\n\t2+ years of SQL DBA & SQL Development experience essential
\n\tMicrosoft SQL Server 2012 \/ 2017 \/ 2019 experience with database administration, including installation and troubleshooting issues
\n\tT-SQL Scripting, Backup and recovery, Replication Database Security experience
\n\tPerformance tuning on SQL queries \/ stored procedures
\n\tLog shipping, Disaster Recovery Solutions and partitioning
\n\tAbility to work under pressure if ever needed.<\/p>\n
