You will take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing complex security solutions. Your extensive expertise in security technologies and managed services will guide the team, ensuring that the most sophisticated and technical support is provided.
\n\tEach day, you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to lead the design and architecture of managed security solutions tailored to unique requirements and business objectives. Overseeing the configuration and deployment of these solutions, you’ll ensure that they adhere to industry standards and best practices. Your proactive approach will help identify and resolve issues, optimizing the performance of clients’ security infrastructures.
\n\tYou’ll serve as a go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving highly complex security incidents. Your role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation, creating automation scripts to streamline security operations, and driving continuous innovation. Whether it’s implementing disaster recovery functions, managing projects, or extending support, your contribution will be vital in enhancing our clients’ security posture.
\n\tYour leadership and subject matter expertise mean you’ll provide guidance not only to your team of engineers but also to cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCreates and maintains the security Infrastructure of managed service to clients.
\n\tProvides highly technical or sophisticated in nature support across security technologies\/security solutions.
\n\tProvides consultancy support where fourth-line engineer teams were unable to resolve the problem.
\n\tShares such knowledge, to resolve issues, documents them, and pushes the knowledge down to other engineers.
\n\tActs as emergency support contact as needed, for critical client and business-impacting issues
\n\tCommunicates with other teams and clients for extending support.
\n\tLeads the design and architecture of managed security solutions for clients, considering their unique requirements and business objectives.
\n\tOversees the implementation of security solutions, including security design, configuration, and deployment and ensures adherence to best practices and industry standards.
\n\tMonitors and optimizes the performance of clients’ security infrastructures, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
\n\tImplements and maintains security measures, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and DATA protection standards.
\n\tLeads the troubleshooting and resolution of highly complex security-related incidents and problems and provides technical expertise and guidance to resolve critical issues.
\n\tContinuously identifies opportunities to improve performance, security, and service delivery, driving process enhancements and technological advancements.
\n\tCreates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including security diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
\n\tDevelops scripts and automation solutions, streamlining security operations, and enhancing efficiency.
\n\tPlays a pivotal role in deploying and managing security solutions, integrating automation tools, and driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of clients.
\n\tMay manage and implement projects within technology domain, delivering effectively and promptly per client agreed upon requirements and timelines.
\n\tMay work on implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests.
\n\tPerforms any other related task as required.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Attributes:<\/p>\n
\tExcellent problem-solving skills with ability to identify complex security issues, brainstorm potential solutions and choose the best way to resolve an issue.
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of security technologies and understanding of managed services concepts.
\n\tExcellent knowledge of security monitoring and management tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
\n\tDemonstrates leadership skills, with effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
\n\tProject management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
\n\tExcellent scripting\/programming skills.
\n\tStrong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Perl, or ruby, and experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.<\/p>\n
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT\/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
\n\tCCNP Security, PCNSC, PCNSE in Security \/ CCIE \/ CISSP \/ Automation certifications or equivalent preferred
\n\tFirewall vendor certification is mandatory.
\n\tCertifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate\u2019s qualification for the role).<\/p>\n
Required experience:<\/p>\n
\tExtended Managed Services experience handling complex Security Infrastructure.
\n\tExtended knowledge and experience in ticketing tools, preferably Service Now.
\n\tExtended experience working in multiple large Global Enterprise client outsourcing projects
\n\tExtended vendor management experience.
\n\tExtended in-depth experience and understanding of the IT industry and standards for IT service management.
\n\tExtended experience in more than one area of expertise.
\n\tExtended experience across Emerging technology and trends impacting IT operations.
\n\tExtended experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise security solutions.<\/p>\n
