About the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team, focused on ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods and personnel. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics and services, guaranteeing that deliveries meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSafely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
\n\tConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
\n\tLoad and unload products while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries.
\n\tCommunicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and updates.
\n\tAdhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
\n\tReport any vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly to management.
\n\tProvide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tValid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
\n\tDemonstrable experience in a driving role, preferably within logistics or transportation services.
\n\tStrong knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations.
\n\tAbility to operate various types of vehicles, including light trucks and delivery vans.
\n\tExcellent time management skills and attention to detail.
\n\tGood communication skills, with a focus on customer interaction.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tExperience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) or GPS navigation systems.
\n\tFirst Aid and CPR certification would be advantageous.
\n\tUnderstanding of basic vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.<\/p>\n
