\tMedirite Plus MRP Bothasig is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to join our dedicated team in delivering exceptional healthcare services and products.<\/p>\n
Duties will include to maximize sustainable branch sales by:<\/p>\n
\tManaging, supporting, and monitoring the effective sales of all unscheduled product lines including specialized health and beauty ranges (Skincare, Cosmetics, Vitamins, Personal Care), and managing the stock room.
\n\tMinimizing shrinkage and wastage.
\n\tMaintain replenishment process throughout the day to ensure excellent on-shelf availability for customers.
\n\tMaintain standards of shop floor presentation and on-shelf pricing.
\n\tExecuting all pricing and product promotions.
\n\tMeeting and exceeding customer expectations.
\n\tMeeting monthly targets (sales\/profit).<\/p>\n

Job Objectives\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Sales maximization<\/p>\n
\tConsistently maximize branch gross profit through effective management of key gross profit drivers.
\n\tMaintain stock holding days and stock ordering within required parameters.
\n\tMaintain 100% consistency and adherence to stock price changes.
\n\tTake corrective action to address sub-standard sales staff performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimization of wastage and in-store markdown (accountable losses) and shrinkage (unaccountable losses)<\/p>\n
\tIdentify all wastage as per the weekly wastage report and implement corrective steps to minimize wastage.
\n\tEnsure appropriate measures are implemented to minimize shrinkage for all known high shrinkage items and other items identified as per stock take counting reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Branch sales reporting\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvide timely and accurate reporting to the Regional Retail Manager.
\n\tIdentify improvement opportunities and possible challenges, making recommendations for corrective action to proactively address these.<\/p>\n
Effective merchandising and stock availability assurance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that the branch is merchandised according to company layouts and standards.
\n\tPromotional displays are erected and placed as per buyers\u2019, suppliers and company requirements.
\n\tIn consultation with the Regional Manager, proactively plan, monitor, and maintain consistent stock range availability and movement according to demand and make alternative arrangements for stock shortages, e.g. inter-branch transfers (IBTs).<\/p>\n
Meeting customer expectations\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMaximize customer loyalty by creating a consumer-friendly environment through effective people and process utilization.<\/p>\n
People Management<\/p>\n
\tLead, motivate, coach, and enable direct reports to meet profitability and customer service standards.
\n\tTrain and develop direct reports according to the core competencies of their roles and ensure coordination of training and the delivery thereof is done in a professional manner.
\n\tCorrectly manage and respond to all disciplinary issues and grievances, when required, in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Housekeeping, health and safety, and compliance assurance<\/p>\n
\tComply with hygiene and housekeeping standards at all times.
\n\tConsistently adhere to audit and required legislative standards and statutory requirements.<\/p>\n

\tAt least two (2) years of retail sales management or supervisory experience.<\/p>\n

\n\tSound numeracy and retail sales skills.
\n\tBilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English.\u00a0
\n\tCompetent in supervising others and leading others, as well as in administrative tasks.
\n\tExcellent customer service skills.
\n\tKnowledgeable in payment procedures (e.g. cash, cheque, bank card, credit cards, coupons, vouchers).
\n\tKnowledge of supply chain and merchandising standards and principles.
\n\tKnowledgeable of regulatory requirements of various Money Market Transactions.
\n\tSound knowledge of safety regulations and hygiene standards.
\n\tBranch-specific retail systems (e.g. ShopPos; OBS).
\n\tHandling of payments (processes and procedures).<\/p>\n
