\tMotus Aftermarket Parts, a leader in the automotive aftermarket parts industry, is seeking a Retail Business Data Analytics Specialist to drive data-led decision-making, improve operational performance, and support sustainable growth across our retail branch network.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
\n\tPostgraduate qualification advantageous.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 – 8 years’ experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar role.
\n\tExperience within Retail, FMCG, Wholesale, or Automotive Aftermarket, preferred.
\n\tProven ability to translate data into actionable business insights that influence decision-making and improve performance.<\/p>\n
Technical Skills<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced SQL and Excel skills.
\n\tExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar Business Intelligence tools.
\n\tPython or R advantageous.
\n\tStrong understanding of retail KPIs, inventory management, sales performance, customer trends, and profitability drivers.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse sales, branch performance, inventory, customer purchasing behaviour, and product category trends across the Midas retail network.
\n\tDeliver actionable insights that support revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational excellence.
\n\tIdentify opportunities to optimise stock holding, replenishment, product availability, and inventory turnover.
\n\tSupport pricing, promotional, category management, and merchandising strategies through data analysis.
\n\tDevelop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into business performance.
\n\tMonitor key retail and operational metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
\n\tPartner with Retail Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to drive data-informed decisions.
\n\tTrack the effectiveness of business initiatives and recommend continuous improvements.<\/p>\n

\tImproved branch performance, stock availability, inventory efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
\n\tMeasurable contribution to sales growth, gross profit, and overall business profitability.
\n\tIncreased adoption of data-driven decision-making across the Midas retail network.
