We are seeking a technically proficient and commercially astute Architectural Specifications Representative to operate within a structured, fast\u2011paced professional environment.
\n\tThe role is integral to supporting the company\u2019s revenue and market growth objectives through effective product specification, technical engagement, and close collaboration with architectural and construction professionals.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCollected, reviewed, and managed architectural drawings to support accurate product specifications and project planning.
\n\tDelivered weekly product presentations and technical workshops to architects and key customers, focusing on correct specification, technical compliance, and safe utilisation of the full product range.
\n\tProvided technical advice and consultancy services to architects and building contractors regarding installation methods, compliance, and the safe use of architectural ironmongery products.
\n\tProactively engaged with architects, quantity surveyors, and property developers to identify, follow up on, and secure new project opportunities.
\n\tPlanned and coordinated professional engagement events, including CPD presentations, product training sessions, and industry functions for architects.
\n\tLiaised closely with architects, main contractors, and other construction professionals to track project progress and ensure specifications are converted into confirmed orders.
\n\tConsistently worked towards and achieved predetermined sales and budget targets.
\n\tSuccessfully converted product specifications into revenue, driving turnover growth and strengthening long-term client relationships
\n\tAttended site meetings to support project implementation and resolve technical or specification-related challenges.
\n\tEffectively utilised available internal resources to maximise project conversion and customer support.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of three to five years\u2019 relevant industry experience is required.
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
\n\tStrong listening, presentation, and influencing skills, particularly when engaging architects and key decision-makers.
\n\tAbility to multitask, prioritise workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
\n\tHigh levels of efficiency, accountability, and professional competence.
\n\tProven experience in specification sales and project-driven sales environments.
\n\tAbility to provide and maintain a comprehensive list of architectural and professional references, where required.
\n\tStrong customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term professional relationships.
\n\tDemonstrated expertise in technical sales, including the ability to interpret specifications and recommend compliant solutions.
\n\tConfident and professional telephone manner, with strong outbound and follow-up capabilities.<\/p>\n
