RESPONSIBILTIES:<\/p>\n
Delivering customer support services by:<\/p>\n
\tPreparing freight quotations (standard road freight cross border and international air freight)
\n\tInteracting with forwarding agents on a daily basis on quotations, delivery status updates and reconciliation of cross border documents and POD\u2019s
\n\tBooking collections, arranging forwarding agent collections and deliveries as well as track and trace
\n\tCommunicating with customers by ensuring cross border invoices, SADC\u2019s, Carnets, Bureau Veritas certificates are handed to collection staff and that documentation is correct
\n\tArranging COC\u2019s with Bureau Veritas
\n\tInvestigating and resolving queries \/ problems through waybill and discrepancy reports
\n\tAdministering discrepancy manifests in terms of collating all discrepancy reports to master records
\n\tAdvising customers and communicating misroutes to branches
\n\tChecking scanning details, updating master record information, recording bay schedules in master report, reviewing endorsed waybills via claims and administering the claims procedure
\n\tMonitoring third party agent POD\u2019s by printing daily outstanding POD\u2019s and verifying the status, marking dispatch trip sheets, resolving queries and faxing copies of the waybills to customers
\n\tFurnishing exporters with proof of exports
\n\tFurnishing importers with proof of imports
\n\tReconciling of GRV\u2019s for cross border retail deliveries
\n\tCommunicating with cross border branches on border clearances, deliveries and documentation
\n\tSending daily tracking reports
\n\tFull function and support for international Sea and Air Freight<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
Education and Training<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 minimum (Matric)
\n\tStudying towards a certificate in customer care \/ call centre management (beneficial)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t2 years general clerical experience \/ working experience within a call centre environment
\n\tBasic understanding of Freightware or similar freight management system
\n\tExcellent geographical location knowledge would be beneficial
\n\tAbility to work with both mass and volumetric weightings<\/p>\n
