\tSACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
\n\tSACAP is looking to permanently employ a Head of Faculty for Education.
\n\tThis role is responsible for leading the establishment and strategic development of SACAP\u2019s new Faculty of Education.
\n\tThe Head of Faculty for Education is responsible for providing academic and strategic leadership, ensuring the effective functioning of the faculty, and overseeing the development, implementation, and quality assurance of academic programmes.
\n\tThe role requires a strong commitment to excellence and community engagement, as well as the alignment of faculty operations with institutional strategic objectives.<\/p>\n
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:<\/p>\n
\tEstablishing SACAP\u2019s new Faculty of Education
\n\tProvide leadership in faculty strategy, academic planning, and quality assurance.
\n\tEnsure alignment with institutional goals, national education policies, and accreditation requirements.
\n\tDrive innovation and excellence in scholarship and research.
\n\tFoster strong industry and community engagement.
\n\tOversee faculty operations<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\tA relevant doctoral degree or equivalent academic qualification.
\n\tExtensive experience in academic leadership and management.
\n\tStrong background in higher education governance, policy, and accreditation.
\n\tExperience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and programme accreditation.
\n\tProven track record in research, innovation, and industry collaboration.
\n\tUnderstanding of national education policies and regulatory frameworks (e.g., CHE).
\n\tFinancial and human resource management experience.
\n\tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills<\/p>\n
