\tThe position will be based at\u00a0Seriti New Denmark Colliery\u00a0and the incumbent will report to the\u00a0Supervisor – Condition Monitoring.
\n\tResponsible for supporting maintenance teams by collecting and analyzing data on equipment health, such as oil samples and vibration readings, to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role is hands-on, often based onsite in mining, construction, or industrial environments, and requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that the oil samples are sampled according to schedule;
\n\tEnsure that vibration data is collected as per schedule;
\n\tEnsure that relevant safety standards are applied;
\n\tAssist CMS technician onsite with condition monitoring duties.<\/p>\n
Qualifications\/Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12;
\n\tOil sampling for analysis;
\n\tVibration data collection for analysis;
\n\tBasic understanding of all condition monitoring equipment such as the data collector and sample pumps;
\n\tUnderstanding the proper sampling procedures;
\n\tBasic understanding of oil and vibration analysis report;
\n\tSound understanding of all mine standards and procedures;
\n\tExperience on Joy\/Underground machines will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Additional Information<\/p>\n
\tMust be able to work under extreme pressure;
\n\tGood communication and people skills;
\n\tMust be a self-starter who takes control and accountability and willing to work overtime and standby as and when required.
\n\tMust be residing in Secunda or Standerton.<\/p>\n
