Job Summary:<\/p>\n
\tAs Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary, to provide clinical support to patients by assisting the Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse in the delivery of nursing care duties in accordance with quality standard and approved safety regulations as well as scope of practise of the of an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.<\/p>\n
Minimum Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tPerform all duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core Standards.
\n\tAdhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, patient rights and Responsibility charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
\n\tEnsure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, and other stakeholders by immediately highlighting any safety risks or disasters and calling for assistance from health support and support personnel when necessary.
\n\tDrive a positive patient (customer) experience by putting patients first and deliver holistic customer orientated service.
\n\tInform and educate patients about the Groups complaints procedure and \u2018The voice\u201d platform.
\n\tAdhere to standards and procedures to reduce wastage and unnecessary costs and report associated risks to Registered Nurse or Unit Manager as and when these arise. The wastage comes in the form of stock and equipment.
\n\tUndertake personal professional development through attendance of workshops and in-service training and any other appropriate training including mandatory health and safety training for area of work.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent level of education essential.
\n\tHigher Certificate in Auxiliary nursing.
\n\tCurrent registration with South African Nursing Council.
\n\t1 year+ experience in a Nursing care environment.
\n\tPrevious experience in private healthcare advantageous.
\n\tComputer proficiency advantageous.<\/p>\n
