Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Civil Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering civil engineering design outputs for multidisciplinary projects across study and detailed design phases. The role focuses on defining engineering design intent, preparing technical deliverables, and coordinating with civil drafters to ensure practical and buildable solutions.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Technical Delivery<\/p>\n
\tPerform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, and site development
\n\tPrepare engineering calculations, reports, technical specifications, and design criteria
\n\tDefine design intent and provide clear inputs to Civil Drafters
\n\tContribute to quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Engineering Work Packages (EWPs)<\/p>\n
Coordination<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate with Civil Drafters and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery
\n\tParticipate in design reviews and technical discussions
\n\tAssist in defining scope, deliverables, and priorities<\/p>\n
Quality & Delivery<\/p>\n
\tReview and check models and drawings for alignment with engineering intent
\n\tEnsure compliance with codes, standards, and safety-in-design principles
\n\tDeliver work within agreed scope, schedule, and budget
\n\tProvide support during construction, including technical queries
\n\tAccountable for technical quality and completeness of civil design outputs.<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Essential<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Civil Engineering
\n\t5\u201310 years\u2019 civil design experience
\n\tExperience in earthworks, drainage, roads, and site infrastructure
\n\tFamiliarity with Civil 3D workflows
\n\tUnderstanding of applicable codes and standards<\/p>\n
Preferred<\/p>\n
\tProfessional registration (or working toward)
\n\tEPCM \/ multidisciplinary project experience
\n\tExposure to BIM \/ digital delivery<\/p>\n
