\tThe main puspose of the position is to ensure the effective management of the import and local supplylines for designated groups. It will be responsible for managing forecast-based inventory levels by analysing stock requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tEffective management of the import and local supply lines for designated groups\u00a0
\n\tManage forecast-based inventory levels by analysing stock requirements\u00a0
\n\tMeet or exceed stock related KPI’s through proactive planning and timeous execution\u00a0
\n\tMaintain system parametres ensuring optimal ordering\u00a0
\n\tLeverage supply chain stratergies to optimize sales inventory effectiveness on a SKU level\u00a0
\n\tConduct promotional stock requirements planning, 8 – 12 months prior to the promotional start date\u00a0
\n\tSupport advertising efforts by assuring stock availability in stores\u00a0
\n\tCollaborate with internal and external parties to ensure business objectives are met
\n\tAnalyse, report and present on inventory related activities to various stakeholders\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBCom degree or similar qualification in logistics or Supply Chain\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 3 years’ experience within a supply chain environment\u00a0<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tStrong numerical and analytical aptitude\u00a0
\n\tHigh proficiency interpreting large data sets\u00a0
\n\tProficient in use of analytical tools (Excel, SAP)\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of the functions that support supply chain – 4Ps model (Product, price, promotion, place)\u00a0
\n\tStrong ability to grasp complex concepts and understand the “bigger picture”
\n\tDemonstrated ability to work unsupervised and under pressure\u00a0
\n\tStrong ability to collaborate and solve problems\u00a0<\/p>\n
