Role purpose:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for reporting ESG data to the Group of companies.
\n\tA driven and focused individual who is equally passionate about reporting and the structures that defines it as well as enjoys building and leveraging relationships to obtain, collate, review and report data.
\n\tThe individual will need to be self-motivated, ensure they are proactive in their work, identify new opportunities to embed and improve the reporting process, focussing on completeness, accuracy and delivery of information to meet compliance requirements.
\n\tThe role requires working with key stakeholders across the business, supporting the delivery of pre-defined ESG data and information to meeting Group compliance requirements.<\/p>\n
Key accountabilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupport the overall ESG reporting approach for the Group including responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of reported ESG data;
\n\tCommunicate and execute the processes to obtain, validate and submit ESG data derived from multiple sources to Group across a range of KPIs;
\n\tDrive implementation and accountability of Group defined policies and process controls while supporting stakeholders in addressing short comings in the current processes;
\n\tManage data submissions to Group in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
\n\tContinuously monitor opportunities for process improvement including opportunities for automation in data collection;
\n\tSupporting the coordination and management of internal and external assurance and reporting governance, working with cross-functional teams throughout the<\/p>\n
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years’ experience in a reporting function for a large organisation within a group;
\n\tAbility to build strong relationships and support teams across multiple functions under very difficult circumstances to deliver on pre-determined targets;
\n\tStrong communication and excellent writing and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management; and
\n\tExperience in working with cross functional teams in delivering data in compliance with regulation into a structured and controlled environment subject to external assurance.
\n\tExperience of non-financial reporting and knowledge of relevant reporting frameworks (CSRD and ISSB
\n\tAbility to influence alignment across geographically dispersed teams without direct authority<\/p>\n
