\tOne of our clients, a leading sub-metering solutions provider and installation company, is currently recruiting for a\u00a0Risk Monitoring and Governance Analyst\u00a0to join their team based in\u00a0Sandton, Gauteng.\u00a0
\n\tThe successful candidate will support the execution of the company\u2019s risk governance, monitoring, and control assurance activities. This role is ideal for a professional with 1\u20133 years of experience within risk management, governance, compliance, or internal auditing who is looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\t1\u20133 years\u2019 experience within Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, or Governance.
\n\tExposure to internal controls and assurance processes.
\n\tRelevant Degree, Diploma, or Postgraduate Qualification in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Governance, or Compliance.
\n\tSound understanding of risk management principles and internal controls.
\n\tStrong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
\n\tStrong analytical and investigative capabilities.
\n\tAbility to review documentation and identify irregularities or exceptions.
\n\tGood interviewing and evidence-gathering abilities.
\n\tStrong report writing, communication, and documentation skills.
\n\tStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
\n\tAbility to communicate professionally and challenge respectfully when required.
\n\tComfortable working across multiple departments and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tExecute annual and monthly risk monitoring plans.
\n\tPerform control testing and compliance reviews across business functions.
\n\tReview supporting documentation, evidence, and exception reports.
\n\tConduct walkthroughs of operational and business processes.
\n\tIdentify control weaknesses, process gaps, and emerging risks.
\n\tDocument findings and assist in compiling management reports.
\n\tMonitor and track corrective actions through to closure.
\n\tMaintain risk registers, assurance trackers, and governance records.
\n\tAssist with policy reviews and governance reporting activities.
\n\tSupport investigations relating to control failures, process breaches, or fraud-related matters.
\n\tLiaise with various departments to ensure risk and governance standards are maintained.<\/p>\n
