\tAn exciting and challenging opportunity has become available for a Store Manager within Tekkie Town, Mall of Tembisa leading a team of staff. This role will report directly to the Area Sales Manager of Tekkie Town. Our ideal candidate should be based in Tembisa or surrounding areas.
\n\tAs a Super Store Manager at Tekkie Town, your responsibilities include overseeing the store’s operations to maximize branch profitability. This involves achieving and surpassing monthly targets, minimizing stock losses, managing expenses, and effectively leading the store team.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Qualifications\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ Matric
\n\tComputer Literate, MS Office \u2013 proficient in Work, Outlook, Excel, etc<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 4 years\u2019 experience in a major retail chain of which a miminum of 2 years must be within a Senior Management role.
\n\tFluent (written and verbal) in English and another official South African language relevant.
\n\tStrong interpersonal and selling skills.
\n\tA strong logical thinking and analytical ability.
\n\tDemonstrates high energy levels and is performance-driven to meet and surpass monthly targets.
\n\tExcellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
\n\tAbility to remain flexible, maintain a positive attitude and work performance in a variety of circumstances.
\n\tAbility to work independently, as well as be a team player.
\n\tAbility to lead and drive a team.
\n\tStrong leadership and organisational abilities.
\n\tOwn transport and valid driver\u2019s license would be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for turnover and budgets ensuring that targets are met.
\n\tEnsuring the Store\u2019s Administration is in line with the Standard Operating Procedures.
\n\tEnsuring that stock losses are under the benchmark.
\n\tEffectively implement Promotions, visual merchandising principles and maintain standards of the store.
\n\tKeeping updated with the latest trends in terms of stock coming in (unpacking process).
\n\tThe ability to ensure that brand standards are implemented & maintained in line with customer expectations.
\n\tOur Store Managers play an active part in the succession planning, coaching, and developing their own team.
\n\tEnsure all employees adhere to company\u2019s Standard Operating Procedures.
\n\tNurturing and driving the Tekkie Town culture and values within the store.
\n\tResponsible for opening and closing of the store.<\/p>\n
