We are looking for an ambitious Branch Manager to establish and grow the Mpumalanga region for a respected food safety and compliance consultancy. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can deliver consulting, training, and compliance services while building a profitable regional client base.

Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tAfrikaans as a first or second language is desirable<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tRelevant qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field
\n\tAdditional management, leadership, sales, or business development training will be advantageous<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3\u20135 years\u2019 management experience within food safety, quality assurance, compliance, consulting, or a related environment
\n\tExperience implementing and maintaining food safety management systems
\n\tStrong business development and client relationship management experience
\n\tExperience leading teams and managing multiple projects
\n\tExposure to financial management, budgeting, and branch performance reporting<\/p>\n
Technical Knowledge<\/p>\n
\tStrong working knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P, GFSI standards, SIZA, and ISO 9001.<\/p>\n

Business Development & Growth<\/p>\n
\tEstablish and grow a profitable regional client base
\n\tDrive sales activity and identify new business opportunities
\n\tBuild strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
\n\tSupport sales and marketing initiatives for the region
\n\tReview and approve quotations, proposals, and project costings<\/p>\n
Food Safety & Compliance Consulting<\/p>\n
\tDeliver consulting, training, and compliance services to clients
\n\tImplement and support food safety management systems aligned to relevant standards, including FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P, GFSI programmes, SIZA, and ISO 9001
\n\tConduct client visits and provide technical guidance
\n\tEnsure all projects are delivered to a high professional standard<\/p>\n
Leadership & Team Management<\/p>\n
\tLead, mentor, and develop consulting and support staff
\n\tManage team performance against agreed KPIs and productivity targets
\n\tAllocate resources effectively across projects and client engagements
\n\tEncourage accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
\n\tConduct regular team meetings and performance reviews<\/p>\n
Project, Financial & Operational Management<\/p>\n
\tOversee consulting and implementation projects from initiation to completion
\n\tMonitor project timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, and client expectations
\n\tReview monthly management accounts and branch performance metrics
\n\tMonitor performance against budget and financial targets
\n\tPresent monthly business performance reports to the Director Group
\n\tEnsure administration, compliance documentation, and accreditation requirements are completed accurately and on time<\/p>\n
