Purpose of the role:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking an experienced Diesel Supervisor that will be responsible for the receiving and dispensing of large volumes of diesel.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\nDiesel Handling and Storage:<\/p>\n
\tOversee the entire diesel storage, handling, and stock management
\n\tReceive diesel supply trucks and ensure proper offloading into tanks
\n\tTake meter readings before and after offloading to calculate diesel received
\n\tInspect seals on diesel tanks to ensure integrity
\n\tCollect samples to verify diesel quality and adhere to safety procedures<\/p>\n
Health and Safety:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure safety protocols are followed
\n\tConduct daily toolbox talks
\n\tReport safety incidents promptly
\n\tMaintain safety files and records<\/p>\n
Receiving Diesel:<\/p>\n
\tPlace orders based on stock levels and delivery times
\n\tVerify incoming trucks against contracts or purchase orders
\n\tCoordinate with security for truck entry
\n\tFollow checklists and procedures for diesel offloading<\/p>\n
Data Management:<\/p>\n
\tReconcile daily diesel stock, received, and dispensed
\n\tPrepare daily and monthly reports
\n\tManage all diesel-related data<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\t3 to 5 years experience in similar role preferably within a mining environment
\n\tMS Excel reporting<\/p>\n
