Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTake customer orders and preparing food to their specifications
\n\tPrepares and cooks meats, fish, vegetables, gravies, cereals, soups, fruits, bakery products and other forms of food
\n\tPrepares and cooks food for special diets from recipes formulated by qualified personnel
\n\tAssists in on-the-job training and assist in directing the work of food service workers, students and other employees within area of assignment
\n\tPlanning and managing work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time
\n\tAssists in the preparation of salads and desserts
\n\tGrilling, cooking, and frying foods
\n\tNotifies supervisor of food and supplies needed. Checks in food and supplies as necessary
\n\tMaintains food production records
\n\tCleans kitchen, kitchen utensils and equipment; secures refrigerator and freezer
\n\tServes food as required. Maintains maximum standards of sanitation and safety
\n\tPromptly reports equipment and food quality to kitchen manager
\n\tUses our Standardized Recipe Card for preparing all products
\n\tMust be able to do shift work – including weekends<\/p>\n
