\tResponsible for the overall management of the warehouse function, ensuring that all goods are received and dispatched efficiently to and from the warehouse in line with the identified regulatory requirements and effectively managing the team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
KEY PERFOMANCE OUTPUTS<\/p>\n
\tAssist General Management in compiling data for annual budgets
\n\tDeliver efficiencies to support year on year operational budget reduction
\n\tManage warehouse in compliance with the company\u2019s policies and vision
\n\tEnsure goods are picked and packed per customer requirements
\n\tOversee warehousing and distribution
\n\tLiaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
\n\tReport on procedures and statistics regularly (IN\/OUT status report, dead stock report, sell by date report)
\n\tMaintain stock control and reconcile with data storage system
\n\tMaintain minimum stock holding levels
\n\tEnsure proper stock rotation
\n\tMaintain stock loading turnaround time
\n\tEnsure stock movement is maintained on the applicable system
\n\tLead, coach and motivate employees
\n\tBuild team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company’s targets and objectives
\n\tPlanning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse
\n\tComply with the necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements
\n\tEnsure compliance to all food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping and pest control
\n\tParticipate in personal hygiene checks

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Logistics or Warehousing
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years\u2019 experience in warehouse management
\n\tStrong stock control management
\n\tThorough understanding of warehousing<\/p>\n
