\n\tLoading and processing payments on AFROSAI-E\u2019s banking platforms, ensuring compliance with the South African Reserve Bank requirements for foreign payments.
\n\tCompile and process any journal entry adjustments that may be required.
\n\tReconcile all staff allowance claim advance accounts every month.
\n\tCarry out ad-hoc duties as required.<\/p>\n
Maintenance of bank accounts<\/p>\n
\tBank Reconciliations (reconcile cash books with bank statements weekly).
\n\tInvestigate unknown transactions on the bank statements with the bank.<\/p>\n
Invoices<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and generate invoices that AFROSAI-E issues to its debtors.
\n\tSend invoices and statements to debtors monthly.
\n\tIssue receipts to debtors on receipt of payment
\n\tInvestigate the status of payments.<\/p>\n
Monthly Reports and Auditors (External and Internal)<\/p>\n
\tPreparation of monthly expenditure reports for projects on the work plan.
\n\tPreparation of monthly financial reports.
\n\tPreparation of six-monthly expenditure report for donor funding income.
\n\tPrepare information requested by the external auditors.
\n\tLiaise with external and internal auditors and respond to their queries.<\/p>\n
Monthly Payroll<\/p>\n
\tMonthly E-Filing of PAYE to SARS.
\n\tProcessing of salaries monthly.
\n\tLoad salary-related payments onto the banking platform.
\n\tMaintain Employee Retirement Annuity and risk\/death benefits.<\/p>\n
Formal Education<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Finance Management or Financial Administration.
\n\tA Post-graduate qualification would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tAt least 5 – 8 years of finance\/accounting experience.
\n\tPractical experience using online accounting packages such as XERO.<\/p>\n
