Job objectives<\/p>\n
\tPlan and coordinate national investigations into breaches of policy, theft and fraud matters.
\n\tManage the Group tip-off anonymous line and other fraud prevention initiatives.
\n\tMaintain confidentiality and integrity in handling of all sensitive information in the group.
\n\tPrepare high quality investigation reports with clear findings, root cause analysis and recommendations.
\n\tDesign & manage annual fraud awareness communication plans.
\n\tIdentify and\/or drive optimal recovery against estimated loss value for the Group within Legal requirements.
\n\tLiaise with the SAPS, NPA, and other relevant authorities to facilitate investigation and resolution to Group-related criminal matters.
\n\tEngage the services of service providers such as polygraph, undercover agents, surveillance and alarm specialists to facilitate internal investigations.
\n\tComplete planned and ad hoc assignments in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
\n\tManage the group incident reporting process to analyse trends and identify emerging business risk.
\n\tAdvise senior management on key risks identified through the use of data analytics tools to detect patterns, anomalies\/ exceptions and trends indicating fraudulent activities.
\n\tProvide input into strategic group projects, for example Asset tracking for DC\u2019s, and camera installations.
\n\tImplementation and optimisation of Fraud Prevention Strategy and continuous completion of Fraud Risk Assessment to identify and mitigate fraud gaps.
\n\tPlan and perform detailed reviews of security processes in stores and DC\u2019s.
\n\tProvide support to the Finance, Operational and IT audit teams where required.
\n\tProvide management with guidance on industry best practice to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business and it\u2019s processes.
\n\tMaintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
\n\tProvide leadership to and management of the Forensic team and related budgets.
\n\tPrepare regular reports for the Group management, executives and the Audit & Risk Committee.
\n\tAssist with the Group\u2019s Ethics Program.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree or other relevant degree in Forensics or Policing
\n\tCFE Certified Fraud examiner or ICFP Certified Forensics Practitioner<\/p>\n
Job-related experience<\/p>\n
\t5 Years\u2019 investigations in a retail or supply chain environment
\n\tDigital forensics \u2013 applications of digital tools and techniques to investigate and provide data insights.
\n\tMinimum of 10 years\u2019 conducting investigations (including criminal & forensics investigations)\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 in fraud awareness and related strategies
\n\tManaging a team<\/p>\n
