Eigevis Group of Companies is seeking a motivated Internal Auditor to join their dynamic team. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to business integrity and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager
\n\tThe Internal Auditor will independently assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across all business units. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, improving efficiency, and supporting operational excellence within the company<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and present an annual risk-based internal audit plan
\n\tPlan, execute, and lead audits and investigations across departments
\n\tUse data analytics to enhance audit processes
\n\tEvaluate internal controls and update the Risk Register
\n\tPrepare and present detailed audit reports with practical recommendations
\n\tConduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented
\n\tEnsure compliance with the Companies Act, VAT Act, and other regulations
\n\tLiaise with stakeholders to promote governance and process improvement
\n\tPerform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required by management<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Education and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tBCom in Internal Auditing, Accounting, or a related field
\n\tMembership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) (advantageous)
\n\t2 to 5 years’ internal audit experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role
\n\tExperience in FMCG and sectors such as retail, manufacturing, or property
\n\tStrong Excel skills and ERP system experience (SAP, Sage, IQ)
\n\tFamiliarity with data analytics
\n\tExcellent communication and problem-solving skills
\n\tHigh attention to detail, ethical standards, and independence
\n\tFluent in Afrikaans with excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n

\tTimely execution of audit plans
\n\tQuality and clarity of audit reports
\n\tImplementation rate of audit recommendations
\n\tCompliance with auditing standards
\n\tEffective stakeholder engagement<\/p>\n
