\tTo provide strategic management of people and resources in the department, to ensure excellent customer service and sustainable growth.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLead and support a team of department managers
\n\tDevelop the team to meet strategic business objectives
\n\tManage full operations of the department\u00a0
\n\tManage daily sales and customer relations
\n\tIdentify business growth opportunities (new markets, new products and new services)
\n\tAs a member of the management committee, co-create and decide on the strategy to implement
\n\tParticipate in cross-disciplinary projects with fellow colleagues
\n\tDesign the most cost-effective delivery channels for your department\u00a0
\n\tDevelop appropriate risk management strategies
\n\tIntroduce efficiency, improvement measures for an optimal return and stakeholder value
\n\tDevelop customer service improvement strategies
\n\tGet involved in drafting and changing policy to align with changing market conditions<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant business degree
\n\tPrevious retail experience at a senior management level
\n\tProven track record in the Retail industry. \u00a0
\n\tAbility to work long hours and weekends
\n\tAbility to work as Duty Manager when required, e.g. open and close store
\n\tExcellent interpersonal relations
\n\tA team builder and a team player
\n\tExcellent customer service
\n\tSelf-confident, hardworking and lives by example<\/p>\n
