Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThis role supports the Channel finance area and is responsible for the maintenance of accounting records, financial analyses, commentary and information for management reporting. The incumbent is individually and collectively accountable for achieving results through own efforts.<\/p>\n
Key Result Area:<\/p>\n
Maintain accounting records<\/p>\n
\tCompile, process and approve accounting entries
\n\tInvoicing and settlements
\n\t\u00a0 Account and budget centre hierarchy maintenance
\n\t\u00a0 Responsible and accountable for accuracy and completeness of general ledgers
\n\tBank servicing and cashflow management
\n\tCompile and submit results per Group reporting requirements
\n\tMaintain a strong financial control environment
\n\tContinuous evaluation of finance processes and driving process optimisation
\n\tPreparation of Annual Financial Statements
\n\tPreparation and submission of monthly and annual tax\/VAT
\n\tLiaise with internal and external auditors<\/p>\n
Management Reporting<\/p>\n
\tCompiles supporting documents for Channels and Group Finance Prepare reports
\n\tAnalyse and provide commentary on the financial results with insights<\/p>\n
Technical Effectiveness<\/p>\n
\tMS Office with solid Excel skills (intermediate)
\n\tOracle Financials (required) and HFM (preferred)
\n\tAn understanding of current IFRS accounting standards<\/p>\n

\tCharted Accountant (SA)\u00a0
\n\t3-5 Years Experience working experience\u00a0
