Job Description<\/p>\n
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB<\/p>\n
\tTo provide a reliable and courteous transportation service with safety as a top priority.<\/p>\n
RESPONISIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tPerform various tasks relating to the transportation of passengers and\/or equipment.
\n\tPerform deliveries as and when required.
\n\tOperate and maintain vehicle and records
\n\tAdhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
\n\tPerform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
\n\tEnsure that the vehicle and\/or trailer is not damaged in any way before using said assets and meets the legal requirements
\n\tEnsure that the vehicle and\/or trailer is not over loaded at any given time
\n\tManaged time properly
\n\tReport all damages that occurred immediately and complete & submit an incident report within 24 hours.<\/p>\n
SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES<\/p>\n
\tCease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or entry to hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection, and take action to address the hazard.
\n\tCease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and take action to address the issue.
\n\tInitiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.
\n\tTo refuse a person without the required license and authorization from management to operate the vehicle assigned to you.<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 advantageous
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tAt least\u00a0 3 years driving experience<\/p>\n
Competencies<\/p>\n
\tGood knowledge of the Gauteng region
\n\tProcession of and continuous renewal of required license to operate vehicle
\n\tAbility to read maps
\n\tAbility to read and write
\n\tGood communication skills
\n\tProfessional<\/p>\n
