A well-established company specializing in advanced drone technology and solutions, primarily focusing on the agricultural sector is seeking the above to be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining UAVs, conducting test flights, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while assisting with client demonstrations and on-site servicing.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements for the role:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a relevant tertiary qualification
\n\tPossession of an Unmanned Maintenance Service Technician certificate is an added advantage
\n\tMust have a Valid Remote Pilot Certificate or currently in the process of obtaining it
\n\tPrevious experience in UAV maintenance or a related technical field is an advantage
\n\tPassion for drone technology, particularly in repair and maintenance
\n\tStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
\n\tProficiency in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
\n\tMust have a valid drivers\u2019 license and be willing to travel as required<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tDiagnosing and repairing UAVs, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
\n\tPerforming routine maintenance and firmware updates on agricultural drones.
\n\tConducting test flights to verify drone performance after repairs.
\n\tAssisting sales representatives with product demonstrations for potential clients.
\n\tTravelling to customer sites for on-site servicing and support.
\n\tMaintaining accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history.
\n\tEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices in UAV operations.
\n\tProviding technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
\n\tSetting up and configuring new drones for clients.
\n\tConducting pre-delivery inspections and testing before dispatching drones to clients.<\/p>\n
