Business Units Risk Governance:<\/p>\n
\tEmbed Risk Management practices in Necsa, monitoring and reporting on the risks identified.
\n\tDevelop strategic policies related to risk management.
\n\tProvide advice and support to the customers of the department.
\n\tManage the Risk Management System.
\n\tRepresent Necsa in all the relevant Risk Management structures and committees
\n\tReview and update the risk management framework, policy, strategy and procedures as required.
\n\tManage the Review Panel and action or follow up on items raised.
\n\tAssist with the maintenance and review of Necsa Risk Register incorporating Necsa\u2019s strategic, project and operational risks.<\/p>\n
Risk Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tDevise risk mitigation strategies with line management and ensuring follow through on implementation of these.
\n\tCoordinate management of risk across Necsa to eliminate or minimise risk exposure, including review of controls and actions.<\/p>\n
Risk Management Awareness<\/p>\n
\tProvide training and advice to management and staff to assist them to manage risk.
\n\tEnsure awareness of Necsa\u2019s Fraud & Corruption Control Policy and Fraud Control Plan, and contribute to their review and update<\/p>\n
Fraud Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tAssist management to identify fraud risks and follow through on the implementation of mitigations
\n\tAssist to oversee the fraud hotline \u00a0and the timely reporting<\/p>\n
Combined Assurance<\/p>\n
\tAssist to put in place systems to implement the combined assurance model for Necsa
\n\tSupport the implementation of combined assurance process and report timeously to the relevant structures.<\/p>\n
Risk Reporting<\/p>\n
Prepare and submit risk management reports for:<\/p>\n
\tDMRE report
\n\tAudit & Risk Committee Report
\n\tEXCO Risk Management Committee report<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tB Degree Internal Audit\/Risk Management and or other relevant three year tertiary qualification
\n\tInternal Audit or Risk Management related accreditation.
\n\tHonours Degree Internal Audit\/Risk Management will be an added advantage
\n\t5-10 years Risk Management\/ Internal Auditing in a large organisation with at least 3 years in a management position<\/p>\n
