The purpose of the role is as follows:<\/p>\n
\tTo collaborate with cross-functional teams to collectively decipher requirements and apply a deep knowledge of quantitative methodologies in the context of the core businesses. i.e. Trading, BRM, Risk, Credit.
\n\tTo lead the analysis, investigation, collaboration, implementation, optimisation, and maintenance of business solutions.
\n\tTo be a hands-on leader for the Quantitative Business Analysts that includes line management and delivery oversight.<\/p>\n
Are you someone who can:<\/p>\n
\tIntegrate specialist understanding of Investment banking, technology, business processes, and data analysis to provide an optimal solution that satisfies stakeholder needs and requirements, expanding the delivery footprint of the capability.
\n\tEngage with internal business (viz. Trading, Risk Managers, XVA specialists, Quantitative specialists) and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure objectives, priorities and key requirements are agreed.
\n\tEnsure adequate and timely responsiveness and resolution on production incidents and feedback on queries relating to risk, pricing and technical queries linked to Workflows, Integration and Reporting.
\n\tCoordinate and participate in the test effort to ensure that the delivered solution meets agreed business requirements and functional\/process specifications.
\n\tProvide input into the design and implementation of scalable, fit for purpose and resilient platform solutions.
\n\tLiaise with external contracted suppliers (e.g., CompatibL) to implement new solutions required by business and technology users according to an agreed roadmap.
\n\tBuild and manage an effective, skilled team with appropriate succession planning.
\n\tManage performance of employees by clearly defining goals and objectives and providing direction, coaching and regular feedback
\n\tDrive team optimisation and synergies by organising the team with client and output aligned goals through Quarterly Business Reviews and agile ceremonies and practices.
\n\tEnsure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountability.
\n\tBuild effective relationships that allow for the managing of expectations, the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights, the creation of buy-in and aligned delivery focus.
\n\tInitiate stakeholder engagements to track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders’ requirements are delivered.
\n\tResearch, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement.
\n\tReview existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy.<\/p>\n
You will be an ideal candidate if you have the following:<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMinimum qualification: post-graduate qualification in Mathematical Finance, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills<\/p>\n
\t3 to 5 years\u2019 experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
\n\tExperience in experience in implementing and supporting Financial Markets systems and related interfaces.
\n\tExperience in designing, testing, and configuring quantitative systems.
\n\tExperience and knowledge of Market and credit risk and XVAs (incl. CVA, SA-CCR, KVA, SA-CVA, MVA, etc)
\n\tWorking knowledge of SQL and ability to analyse data.
\n\tMulti asset class, and trade life cycle knowledge
\n\tBusiness process modelling and design capabilities.
\n\tUnderstanding of data models and ability to validate data flows between and within systems<\/p>\n
