\n\tWe are seeking a Credit Ops Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will support our collection functions, including Call Centre Collections, Debt Review, Recoveries team, and other analytical support within the area. We are looking for an analyst with moderate experience who is proficient in MS SQL, PowerBI, and Excel.<\/p>\n
More about the role:<\/p>\n
\tOverall analytical support across the Credit Operations space.
\n\tRunning existing report to be used in executive information packs.
\n\tAssisting operational departments with operational reporting.
\n\tMonitoring key metrics and interpreting findings.
\n\tAssist with the review and enhancement of the collection efforts and reporting.
\n\tAssist with and maintain strategies for early and late-stage collections that ensure that operations department focus on the correct delinquent accounts.
\n\tMaintain and update forecast models for future collections, PTPs, and recoveries.
\n\tUse data-oriented approach to work with others in solving complex business problems around profitability, marketing, risk, and operational analysis.
\n\tDesign experiments and use various test and control strategies for credit operations, analyse results, and build predictive models to forecast future outcomes.
\n\tPerform data-oriented \u2018what if\u2019 and \u2018ad-hoc\u2019 analysis to support business strategy optimization in credit operations.
\n\tAssists Head of Credit Ops and Collections functions on key projects.<\/p>\n
More about you:<\/p>\n
\tNumerate degree (BSc, BCom, B Bus Sci, B Eng.)
\n\tWould benefit from courses in advanced mathematics, computer programming, economics, and operations research.
\n\tMinimum of 3 years’ working experience as an analyst
\n\tWorking knowledge and exposure to processes such as banking or retail credit
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Python or SAS
\n\tProject management experience will be advantageous.<\/p>\n
