Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Business Intelligence Development<\/p>\n
\tDesign, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
\n\tTranslate business requirements into scalable and effective BI solutions.
\n\tWrite efficient DAX calculations and Power Query (M language) transformations.
\n\tDevelop data models and ETL processes to integrate multiple data sources.
\n\tEnsure high-performance, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards.<\/p>\n
Data Management & Governance<\/p>\n
\tMaintain data accuracy, integrity, and security across BI solutions.
\n\tOptimize query performance and ensure efficient data processing.
\n\tWork with relational and dimensional data models to improve reporting structures.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tWork closely with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
\n\tManage new report requests and enhance existing reports based on feedback.
\n\tEnsure timely and accurate report generation for business performance tracking.<\/p>\n
Mentorship & Best Practices<\/p>\n
\tMentor junior BI developers, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
\n\tChampion Power BI adoption within the business by training internal users.
\n\tEstablish and maintain best practices for BI development.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Skills & Experience Required<\/p>\n
\t4+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience (dashboards, reports, and data models).
\n\tStrong proficiency in SQL (query writing, stored procedures, and performance tuning).
\n\tExperience with ETL processes and data transformations for Power BI.
\n\tStrong knowledge of DAX calculations and Power Query (M language).
\n\tExperience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.
\n\tUnderstanding of data warehouse design and data modelling
\n\tExcellent problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mindset.
\n\tStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
\n\tAbility to work independently while also mentoring and guiding junior team members.<\/p>\n
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of Python.<\/p>\n
Education & Certifications<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Power BI certifications (PL-300, DA-100) are a plus.<\/p>\n
