\tManage cash flow to ensure the current account does not go into overdraft and that all cash movements are accounted for.

\n\tManage accurate processing of custodian current accounts.<\/p>\n
Financial Operations Management<\/p>\n
\tImprove internal workflow processing.
\n\tManage completion of accurate month-end journals and reconciliations by due dates.
\n\tMinimise audit queries.
\n\tPrepare Year End Audit Files
\n\tCommunicate effectively with third parties.
\n\tParticipate in Projects and tender evaluation
\n\tParticipate in the operational due diligence process<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting<\/p>\n
\tProduce accurate financial reports for timeous submission to the various internal departments and external stakeholders.
\n\tAssist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements.
\n\tPrepare Investment Schedules for submission to the FSCA.
\n\tPrepare monthly smoothed investment returns<\/p>\n
Investment Administration Support<\/p>\n
\tOversee the quality and output of others in the department, ensuring their performance is regularly monitored and coaching them for development and continuous improvement.
\n\tAssist colleagues to reduce logging of calls by providing expertise in investment accounting and administration.
\n\tMake recommendations on increasing the efficiencies of investment administration processes.
\n\tAssist with utilisation of Everest Accounting capability
\n\tAttending to audit requests and provision of financial information during the audit<\/p>\n
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION\/TRAINING<\/p>\n
\tRelevant bachelor’s degree in related field accounting, or finance<\/p>\n
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tAt least 6 years\u2019 experience in an accounting\/ financial\/payroll environment, preferably in a pension fund environment.
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in a management role (where relevant).
\n\tAudit experience advantageous<\/p>\n
