A well-established London-based firm, specializing in corporate finance, tax and accounting is seeking the above to deliver accounting and compliance services to a portfolio of clients to allow them to make better decisions and achieve their goals.<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements for the role:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a relevant accountancy qualification
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience within an accounting firm or accounting role is essential
\n\tMust have experience in producing management accounts and VAT returns
\n\tExperience using Xero and Excel is advantageous
\n\tStrong attention to detail, effective workload management, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines are essential, along with strong communication skills and articulate expression<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tManaging the delivery of work to a portfolio of clients.
\n\tPreparing and reviewing VAT returns, management reporting, CIS returns, and P11Ds.
\n\tReviewing work from within Xero or the relevant accounting system.
\n\tPerforming bookkeeping and data processing.
\n\tSetting up and training on Xero and related apps.
\n\tDeveloping budgets and forecasts.
\n\tUndertaking ad-hoc projects.
\n\tManaging client expectations and delivering up-to-date financials and compliance filings on time, every time.
\n\tEngaging in CPD and ongoing training.
\n\tEnsuring confidentiality of sensitive client data.
\n\tWorking with other team members to meet deadlines.
\n\tIdentifying opportunities to improve and streamline internal processes.
\n\tTraining others on accounting systems and add-ons.
\n\tActing in accordance with the business\u2019s values and competency framework.
\n\tCommunicating with direct line managers.
\n\tCommunicating clearly and concisely with clients.
\n\tDemonstrating strong accounting knowledge, particularly regarding the requirements of FRS 102.<\/p>\n
