\tDevelop and maintain the risk control framework;\u00a0
\n\tImplement and maintain the risk assessment process and risk profile of SA Tourism;\u00a0
\n\tInvestigate and analyse root causes, patterns or trends of the risk assessment;\u00a0
\n\tDevelop and maintain the SA Tourism risk register and consult with business unit heads and line management to establish, maintain and improve risk management capabilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Governance and Compliance\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReview key business activities to ensure compliance with standards, policies and regulations;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance to risk management policies, procedures and systems;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure high risk compliance and governance areas are proactively identified and mitigated;\u00a0
\n\tManage compliance education and awareness campaigns;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure policies and procedures are understood throughout SA Tourism;\u00a0
\n\tCommunicate new or revised policies across SA Tourism.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tCollate risk and compliance reporting requirements from each of the other departments;\u00a0
\n\tPrepare monthly and quarterly reports;\u00a0
\n\tCustomise GRC presentations for different audiences.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tEstablish, support, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote the South African brand through collaboration and partnerships with trade.\u00a0<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Commerce in Auditing and Accounting;\u00a0
\n\tHonours degree in Risk Management will be advantageous;\u00a0
\n\tRegistration with the Institute of Risk Management (IRMSA) or Institute of Internal Auditors (IIASA) or equivalent\u00a0
\n\t6 \u2013 10 years\u2019 collective experience of which years 5 should be at a management level.\u00a0<\/p>\n
