Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. What you’ll do:<\/p>\n
\tAs a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s financial health. Your responsibilities will include compiling annual budgets, maintaining accurate cash flow forecasts, creating financial models according to business specifications, obtaining finance approvals, performing feasibility analyses on capex investments, analysing revenue data and trends, managing ICASA annual levies and license fees, and ensuring correct allocation of requisitions. Your work will directly contribute to the company’s profitability and financial stability.
\n\tCompile budgets annually and set up budget for Forecast and FC Management
\n\tIFRS
\n\tPrepare, update and maintain an accurate cash flow forecast monthly
\n\tCompile financial and valuation model per business specifications
\n\tObtain finance approvals: Receive \u201copportunity\u201d quote from Sales \u2013 verify and sign off.
\n\tPerform feasibility analysis on capex investments.
\n\tAnalyse revenue, operating and capital expenditure data and trends
\n\tManage ICASA annual levies and licence fees
\n\tEnsure the correct allocation of requisitions to correct accounts in general ledger<\/p>\n
What you bring:<\/p>\n
\tThe ideal candidate for the Financial Accountant position brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance. You have a BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification under your belt along with at least 3 years of industry experience focused on product pricing and feasibility models. Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels coupled with your proficiency in MS Office applications sets you apart. You possess an understanding of BEE finance and are skilled in financial modelling. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to navigate complex financial challenges.
\n\tBCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
\n\tAt least 3 years of experience in finance with focus on product pricing and feasibility models
\n\tAbility to communicate at Executive level
\n\tProficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\n\tUnderstanding of BEE finance
\n\tSkilled in financial modelling
\n\tStrong problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
