RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Deals with Customers<\/p>\n
\tInteracts with customers in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner at all times.<\/p>\n
Accepts Responsibility for Float \/ Takings of the Day<\/p>\n
\tAccepts full responsibility for the float, ensuring it is correct each morning and when returning it at the end of day for safe keeping.
\n\tAccepts cash \/ cheques \/ credit cards and gift vouchers in exchange for goods in accordance with guidelines as laid down by the Company.
\n\tInforms the Senior Cashier of any discrepancies as directed, who will in turn inform the Assistant Manager (Administration).<\/p>\n
Ensures that correct purchase data is captured<\/p>\n
\tEnsures that all purchases are captured under the correct allocation on the cash register.<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tAssumes the responsibility of keeping the working area alongside the till point clean and tidy at all times.
\n\tAssists with any other reasonable tasks when called upon to do so by the Assistant Manager (Administration).
\n\tActs responsibly and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image of the Company.
\n\tComplies with Company policy with regards to the Company uniform and looks neat and presentable at all times.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 National Senior Certificate
\n\tAvailable to work weekends and public holidays
\n\tReliable transport to Rosebank Branch<\/p>\n
