Aqua-Farms Organization was established in 2016 and became registered on 6th July 2017. The organization aims to boost financial access, heighten community awareness about aquatic conservation, and vigorously advocate for community-driven economic growth.<br \/>\nJob Summary The Livelihood Field Officer plays a vital role in bridging the gap between Aqua Farm Organisation\u2019s (AFO) program management and the field team (facilitators) and the communities. This position is critical in ensuring effective communication, guiding program implementation, and ensuring that project priorities are clearly understood and executed. The Livelihood Field Officer will manage day-to-day program operations, supervise the Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLA) facilitators, and work closely with community groups to ensure the success of AFO\u2019s livelihood initiatives in the Tanga Region.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\nA. Program Management:<br \/>\n\u25cf Lead the development and execution of livelihood program activities, with a focus on VSLA and seaweed farming initiatives.<br \/>\n\u25cf Guide and support VSLA facilitators in executing monthly plans and budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation processes are followed.<br \/>\n\u25cf Oversee the formation of VSLA groups and ensure facilitators provide training as per the approved training materials.<br \/>\n\u25cf Track the health of VSLA groups using the Management<br \/>\nInformation System (MIS) and other monitoring tools.<br \/>\n\u25cf Organize and coordinate group events, including meetings with village leaders, group training sessions, and environmental awareness campaigns.<br \/>\n\u25cf Facilitate community events like environmental clean-ups and support initiatives for vulnerable groups.<br \/>\n\u25cf Prepare and manage evaluation calendars for program end cycles and implementation schedules.<br \/>\n\u25cf Conduct field visits and audits to assess the effectiveness of facilitators in implementing program activities.<br \/>\n\u25cf Collaborate with facilitators to ensure groups maintain proper records and ensure targets are met.<br \/>\n\u25cf Provide feedback to the Livelihood Program Manager on program progress, challenges, and outcomes.<br \/>\n\u25cf Implement corrective actions when necessary and encourage facilitators to operate with professionalism and independence.<br \/>\n\u25cf Chairs monthly facilitators\u2019 meetings and ensures the implementation of program activities through regular spot-checks.<br \/>\nB. Facilitator Training and Assessment:<br \/>\n\u25cf Collaborate with the Livelihood Program Manager to develop high-quality training materials in line with the VSLA curriculum.<br \/>\n\u25cf Conduct training assessments to evaluate facilitators\u2019 ability to deliver effective training sessions.<br \/>\n\u25cf Ensure that training provided to community groups aligns with high-quality standards and program objectives.<\/p>\n<p>C. Reporting and Documentation:<br \/>\n\u25cf Provide regular program updates to the Livelihood Program<br \/>\nManager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.<br \/>\n\u25cf Ensure proper documentation of program activities, success stories, training records, and facilitator evaluations.<br \/>\n\u25cf Respond to management inquiries and report on program activities and outcomes.<br \/>\n\u25cf Collect high-quality data and produce comprehensive reports, including documentation of success stories, highlights, and visual documentation.<br \/>\nD.
