\nThe\u00a0key purpose\u00a0of this role is the operation of the utilities steam plant, Carbon dioxide plant, Air plant, Water treatment plants, Refrigeration and the execution of quality control checks and \u00a0\u00a0monitoring. The BOP Utilities Operator will also support the Utilities Technical Operator in the monitoring and operation of the utilities plant.
\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:
\nMonitor Utilities Equipment\u2019s Performance\u200b:<\/p>\n
Measure performance attributes\u200b
\nConduct First Line maintenance tasks (ATO) and schedules.\u200b
\nApply OHS procedures\u200b
\nMaintain workplace safety, housekeeping and risk free\u00a0standards\u200b
\nOptimise production performance\u200b
\nOperate plant and process equipment
\n\u200b<\/p>\n
Monitor Processes\u200b:<\/p>\n
Interpret production plan\u200b
\nMaintain the utilities operation\u200b
\nEnsure quality control of utilities supply\u200b
\nReport on plant, machine and process problems\u200b
\nConduct autonomous operator maintenance\u200b
\nConduct operator breakdown maintenance tasks\u200b
\nWork in teams\u200b
\nCommunicate effectively in the workplace\u200b
\nContribute to self and team development\u200b
\nPrepare boilers for government inspections \u200b

Dip\/Degree in Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering preferable\u200b
\nMechanical aptitude\u200b
\nTwo years\u2019 experience in preferably a Utilities environment\u200b
\nPC literacy\u200b
\nExperience in boilers will be an advantage\u200b<\/p>\n
