You will work on rotation after completing an integration period of 8 to 10 weeks at the Dar Es Salaam office.
\nThe rotations will be 8\/2: you will work and you will be accommodated on-site for 8 weeks (in Tanga) and work for 2 weeks at the Dar Es Salaam office.
\nOn-site, your work schedule will be 6 days per week, while at the Dar Es Salaam office, you will work 5 days per week.
\nFor each week spent on-site, you will receive one compensation day.
\nThe subsidiary will provide you with shared accommodation in Dar Es Salaam and private accommodation on-site.

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a major infrastructure project intended to transport crude oil from the oil fields of Uganda to the Tanzanian port of Tanga on the Indian Ocean for export. During this VIE mission, you will support the electrical engineering activities on a pipeline project, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
\nThis role involves hands-on supervision, troubleshooting, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the timely and efficient completion of the project.
\nAs a Field Electrical Engineer, the main activities will be:<\/p>\n
Promote a culture of safety on-site and ensure adherence to HSE policies.
\nConduct risk assessments and participate in safety audits.
\nOversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, equipment, and power distribution on the pipeline sites.
\nSupport troubleshooting activities to resolve electrical issues.
\nField design clashes\/changes and recommend corrective actions.
\nCollaborate with contractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of electrical work.
\nAssist in preparing As-Built Documentation and preparing technical operating procedure.<\/p>\n
Candidate Profile<\/p>\n
Expected qualifications:<\/p>\n
Electrical, Instrumentation, Energies engineering degree<\/p>\n
Technical skills:<\/p>\n
Solid knowledge of HV and LV electricity: knowledge of standards and equipment
\nMastery of control systems and electrical networks: equipment, networks, signals
\n1st experience in electrical work is a plus<\/p>\n
Computing skills:<\/p>\n
Very good knowledge in Microsoft Suite (reporting) and Excel (data processing)
\nKnowledge of Autocad \u2013 Diagram (production of schematics and drawings)
\nKnowledge of PowerBi (data base management)<\/p>\n
