\nJob Purpose\/Mission
\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building, scaling, and maintaining our infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, deployment, and monitoring of our applications and services. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to improve CI\/CD pipelines, automate workflows, and maintain reliable systems.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Infrastructure Management
\nDesign, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS, Hetzner and, k8s.
\nMaintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
\nImplement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Terrafom, ansible, or similar tools.
\nCI\/CD Pipeline Development
\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance CI\/CD pipelines using tools like CodeDeploy, GitLab CI.
\nAutomate testing and deployment processes to minimize manual interventions.
\nMonitoring and Incident Management
\nSet up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Graylog, ELK).
\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with system performance, latency, and scalability in real-time.
\nLead incident response processes, ensuring root-cause analysis and resolution.
\nSecurity & Compliance
\nEnsure compliance with security best practices (e.g., network segmentation, IAM policies, Firewalls, WAFs).
\nImplement vulnerability scanning and automated security testing in CI\/CD pipelines and provisioned Infrastructure.
\nCollaboration and Mentoring
\nWork closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth deployments.
\nMentor junior DevOps engineers and guide the team on best practices and modern tools.
\nLead Design and implementation of System Architectures.
\nAutomation and Tooling
\nDevelop scripts to automate system operations and workflows (using Python, Bash, or similar).
\nImprove processes related to backup, recovery, and system upgrades.<\/p>\n
Experience And Skills
\nRequired experience and skills<\/p>\n
3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
\nStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
\nExpertise with CI\/CD pipelines and automation tools like Codedeploy, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
\nStrong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking.
\nHands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Graylog).
\nSolid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
\nProficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
\nFamiliar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development workflows.
\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in production environments.<\/p>\n
Preferred Skills<\/p>\n
Experience with Service Mesh (Istio\/Linkerd) or message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
\nKnowledge of security tools and frameworks (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, OWASP).
\nFamiliarity with log aggregation and troubleshooting distributed systems.
\nExperience with cost optimization strategies on cloud platforms.<\/p>\n
