\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Participate in the daily planning process.
\nEnsuring all management of dewatering performance objectives is achieved.
\nMaintaining of a daily Pumping operation record.
\n\u00a0Ensuring that Pumping of water from the Underground is carried out effectively on daily basis.
\nEnsure the dewatering Pipes are of a high quality of welding and connections.
\n\u00a0Ensuring water is pumped to the required sediment Ponds.
\n\u00a0Monitoring the dewatering line for any leak\/s and attend to it as immediately without delay.
\n\u00a0Re-routing of dewatering Pipes in such a way that, it does not impede Mining Production Operations.
\nEnsuring that any safety production improvement opportunity relating to Dewatering is communicated to the Mining Supervisor for review or implementation.
\n\u00a0Ensure that the water Pump is always operated in safe manner.
\nEnsuring all activities assigned by the Dewatering Supervisor are carried out and completed in accordance with Company Safety Policies.
\nEnsuring a Pre-shift Pump inspection is carried out daily.
\nAdhering to your agreed Safety Responsibilities
\nInspecting all dewatering Lines with regard to the safe working conditions on a daily basis.
\n\u00a0Attending the daily toolbox meeting.
\n\u00a0Reporting accidents\/incidents immediately to the Mining Supervisor.
\n\u00a0Seek to achieve positive growth & improvement of all work activities & performance standards
\nHave an awareness for recognizing & then suggesting continuous improvement initiatives
\nEnsure that the requirements of the Dewatering Project Management Plans are adhered to & implemented
\n\u00a0Ensuring compliance with environmental management practices that minimize the impact of the environment Pollution up to Zero tolerance.
\n\u00a0Compliance with all statutory & regulatory requirements.
\nEnsuring all Dewatering activities are carried out in accordance with the site-specific environmental management plan.
\nMonitoring compliance with specific environmental measures as assigned by the Mining Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Professional and Interpersonal\u00a0Requirements<\/p>\n
Ordinary Level secondary education
\n\u00a0Extensive hands-on experience with dewatering in underground environment
\n\u00a0Knowledge of Mine Site Safety Issues.
\n\u00a0Must demonstrate good oral communication skills in English
\n\u00a0Holder of a Tanzanian Driver\u2019s License will be added advantage.
\nAbility to inspect the dewatering lines\/Pipes
\n\u00a0Ability to carry out all dewatering activities effectively.
\nAbility to complete daily Pump Pre-Use Check list.
\n\u00a0Honest every time when carrying out Dewatering activities.<\/p>\n
